In her current role as a textile designer at F. Schumacher & Co., she is responsible for navigating an extensive catalog, designing custom wallcoverings for luxury clients, and guiding teams through the design, strike off, and production process. Her expertise in printing, textiles, and trend forecasting enables her to deliver products that fit client inspiration, while remaining timeless and practical. 

Megan’s experience in textiles and fabric reaches far beyond wallcoverings. In addition to her degrees in Fashion Design & Fabric Styling from Fashion Institute of Technology, she was the Creative Director & Head of Design for Run & Follow, a NYC ready to wear womenswear brand. In these roles, she developed tech packs for complete size ranges, sourced materials, and coordinated with production facilities for the brand’s core collection. For studio collections and private clients, she hand-crafted unique pieces that became definitive aspects to the brand’s identity. Her personal style and vision elevated Run & Follow’s reputation, securing a showcase at Vancouver Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023, where she designed and produced their runway collection. 

As the daughter of an experienced patternmaker and seamstress, Megan’s lifelong passion for fabric and color drives both her professional and personal work. She fills her time by creating beautiful custom pieces for friends and family, blending their individual styles and interests with her creative process. Her professional level of quality and attention to detail has driven demand for her commissioned pieces, sold under her Made By Moose label. She is inspired by the natural forms and bold colors of the Art Nouveau period. Organic shapes and movement are cornerstones of her visual style.

Megan is the recipient of a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fabric Styling and an Associates of Applied Science in Fashion Design from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
